PUBLIC NOTICE: Notice of Permissive Property Tax Exemptions
Date of Notice: September 29, 2025
Pursuant to Section 227 of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that Council will consider proposed 2025-2028 Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1929, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 1940, 2025 at 5 p.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3535 Bridge Street, Armstrong, B.C.
2025-2028 Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 1929, 2024, which provides exemptions from property taxation for the properties listed below for the 2025 to 2028 taxation years, will be amended to remove 3550 Bridge Street as this property is no longer occupied by the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce. Note that the figures are estimated and actual values may vary upon receipt of the assessment roll for each year.
*Pursuant to Section 220 (1) (h) of the Community Charter, buildings for public worship, and the land on which they stand, are exempt from taxation.
