We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the capacity of Deputy Corporate Officer. This exempt position is full-time permanent.
The Deputy Corporate Officer reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and is a key member of the City’s management team. The position is responsible for providing professional administrative support services to Council and the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) ensuring that statutory requirements are met. This position serves as the Chief Elections Officer and assists the CAO for the purposes of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP). In the absence of the CAO, the Deputy Corporate Officer performs the statutory duties of the CAO in his or her absence, as described in Section 148 of the Community Charter.

Minimum qualifications include:
Grade 12 supplemented by post-secondary education related to Local Government
A minimum of two years direct, relevant municipal work experience
