Change of Contractor

Garbage Collection

This to to notify residents that effective May 1, 2016, Progressive Waste Solutions will be the new contractor for residential curbside garbage collection. There will be no changes to the days of collection or limit of bags. The contact phone number for Progressive Waste Solutions is 1-855-765-0565. Residents can use this number beginning in May to report garbage-related problems. Complaints regarding garbage collection in general can be made directly with City Hall.

Storms

Intense storms can cause localized drainage and flooding issues. To help prevent possible drainage and flooding problems, residents should ensure all catch basin drains and culverts on or near their properties are kept clean of debris at all times. It is very common for drains to become plugged during storm events.

Sand and sand bags are available 24/7 at the lot adjacent the Public Works Yard on Patterson Avenue. Bring a shovel to fill the bags yourself.
