Surveys

Mayor and Council value the opinions of our residents and want to provide opportunities for residents to give input to the City. Surveys and questionnaires are one way Council and Administration can hear directly from citizens. Please take some time and complete the surveys below so your voice can be heard.

Official Community Plan Questionnaire

The City of Armstrong has begun the process of reviewing and updating the City’s Official Community Plan (OCP). An OCP is the principal municipal planning tool that develops a vision for the future of a community and establishes a detailed set of policies to help your City make decisions on a wide range of topics such as land use, growth management, and the well-being of all residents and business owners.

This questionnaire will help staff and City Council gain further insight from residents regarding OCP related issues, as well as, establishing priorities in future decision making. Paper copies are also available at City Hall.

City of Armstrong New City Hall - Feasibility Assessment

As part of the Strategic Planning process conducted by City of Armstrong Council in November 2018, it was recommended that the City conduct a feasibility process to determine if a new City Hall is warranted.

At this time, no decisions have been made on where a new City Hall would be located, what amenities it should include for the public or how it would be paid for.

As part of the process, Council would like to hear from you, our residents.  If you support a new building, what would you like to see included? Information gathered from this survey will help guide Council in a decision making process and whether to proceed in planning for a new City Hall. Paper copies are also available at City Hall.
