Precautionary Water Quality Advisory RESCINDED

The City of Armstrong has rescinded the Precautionary Water Quality Advisory that was issued on June 1, 2026 due to low chlorine residuals in the water distribution system.

The advisory applied to the City of Armstrong and the following water systems:

  • Highland Park Waterworks
  • Lansdowne Waterworks
  • Round Prairie Waterworks
  • Silver Star Waterworks
  • Stardel Waterworks
  • Pleasant Valley Waterworks

Following extensive flushing and ongoing water quality monitoring throughout the distribution system, testing has confirmed that free chlorine residual levels have returned to acceptable levels and the water is safe for normal consumption and use.

Residents may resume regular use of tap water for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth, washing fruits and vegetables, and making beverages or ice.

The City of Armstrong would like to thank residents, businesses, and water users for their patience and cooperation while crews worked to restore and verify water quality throughout the system.
