Business Licenses

A valid business license is required for all businesses operating within the City of Armstrong. For information and directions on how to apply for a business license or renewal, as well as fees, deadlines, and options available for companies operating within Okanagan – Similkameen Region, please review our available resources.

Mobile Vendors

If you run a mobile business – a business operating from a motor vehicle, trailer or cycle as defined and licensed under the Motor Vehicle Act, please review the information and resources regarding Mobile Vendor licenses, fees, and insurance coverage required for operation within the City of Armstrong.

City Sidewalk Permits

For businesses wishing to use City sidewalks for signage, displays, seating, or other promotion, a City Sidewalk permit is required. Permit information and applications can be found here. Please note that any signage displayed with City limits must comply with the City of Armstrong’s Sign Bylaw.

Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of volunteer member representatives, and provides services to visitors, the community, and it’s businesses. Consisting of a board of directors, staff and volunteers, the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce promotes products and services made and provided in the area.
