EOC UPDATE: EVACUATION ALERT RESCINDED

Effective immediately, the City of Armstrong has rescinded the Evacuation Alert that was issued for affected properties in response to the Bradley Creek Wildfire.

The Evacuation Alert that was issued for fourteen properties, listed below, is now rescinded.

While the Evacuation Alert has been rescinded, the City of Armstrong Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) will remain activated to continue monitoring the situation and maintaining communication with the BC Wildfire Service, the Township of Spallumcheen, the Regional District of North Okanagan and other partner agencies. The City will continue to assess conditions and provide updates should circumstances change.

Although the Evacuation Alert has been rescinded, wildfire season is ongoing. Residents are encouraged to remain prepared, stay informed of current wildfire conditions, and continue to follow official information from the BC Wildfire Service and local authorities.

For the most accurate, reliable and up-to-date information regarding the City’s response, resident are encouraged to rely onficial communication channels. Evacuation Alerts and Orders will be posted to the City’s website, social media channels, and issued through the Alertable Notification System though the app.
