Zoning Bylaw No. 1921, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 1944, 2025

Pursuant to Sections 464 and 467 of the Local Government Act, notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Armstrong will consider first, second and third readings, and adoption of, Zoning Bylaw No. 1921, 2024, Amendment Bylaw No. 1944, 2025 at its October 27, 2025 Regular Meeting at 5 p.m. in Council Chambers – 3535 Bridge Street, Armstrong, B.C.
This bylaw proposes to amend the land use designation in Zoning Bylaw No. 1921, 2024 for 3550 and 3570 Bridge Street from Administration, Service and Assembly (P.2) to Town Centre Commercial (C.1).
Pursuant to Section 464(2) of the Local Government Act, the City is not required to hold a public hearing regarding the proposed bylaw as it is consistent with the Official Community Plan. Per provincial legislation, members of the public are not permitted to address Council regarding the proposed bylaw during the Council meeting.
The proposed bylaw is available for inspection on the City’s website at www.cityofarmstrong.bc.ca, and at City Hall from October 17 to 27, 2025 during regular business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays).
