Public EV Charging Stations in Armstrong
The City of Armstrong is pleased to announce the Level 2 public electric vehicle (EV) charging station is now available at City Hall – 3535 Bridge Street.
The station is part of the FLO charging network, providing reliable, user-friendly access for residents, visitors, and travelers.
The charger is available to both FLO members and non-members.
Charging Rates
- First 3 hours: $1.50 per hour
- Each additional hour: $3.00 per hour
Charging fees begin once your session is activated.

Each charger includes an ID number located on the front panel. FLO users will reference this number when starting their charging session.
STEP-BY-STEP-INSTRUCTIONS
- Find a Station
Locate Armstrong’s EV chargers using the FLO mobile app or FLO’s online station map. - Activate Your Session
Start charging by:
- Tapping your FLO card on the reader, or
- Using the FLO app to select the station and enter the charger’s ID number.
- Connect Your Vehicle
Open the station door, remove the J1772 connector, and plug it into your vehicle. - Charging Begins Automatically
Your EV will start charging once connected. - Finish Your Session
Unplug the connector, return it to the holster, and close the station door.
Do I Need a FLO Account?
You do not need a FLO account to use the station. Non-FLO users can still initiate a charging session by following the instructions displayed on the unit.
You can use a FLO charger as a non-member by using the FLO Mobile App as a guest (entering email/payment) or by paying with a compatible credit card directly at stations with tap-to-pay, or by using another network’s app/card that roams with FLO.
