Construction to begin on Pleasant Valley Boulevard North Improvements
Update #1

Armstrong, BC – The City of Armstrong is pleased to announce that construction will soon begin on improvements to Pleasant Valley Boulevard (PV Blvd. North), marking the start of the first phase of the City’s downtown revitalization initiative.

During the week of March 23, 2026, Chapman Industries will start mobilizing to the site. Initial activities during this week may include setting up construction fencing, some tree removal, survey work and performing utility locates. This will likely require sections of the south lane on Pleasant Valley Boulevard to be closed to accommodate equipment. During the week of April 6, 2026, construction activities are anticipated to commence, weather permitting. Construction work will start at the west end of Pleasant Valley Boulevard North and work its way east.
