Hullcar Mountain Wildfire

The City of Armstrong wishes to inform residents that Emergency Management staff are closely monitoring the Hullcar Mountain Wildfire in collaboration with the Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness & BC Wildfire.  The Hullcar Mountain wildfire does not currently pose an immediate threat to the City of Armstrong.

Fire service responders are requesting that residents avoid driving out to view the fire to allow effective response efforts. Clear roads will ensure those directly affected by the event have safe routes to travel in the case of an evacuation.

The Hullcar Mountain Wildfire serves as a reminder for residents to be prepared in case of an evacuation alert or order. There are several ways for residents to prepare for an emergency including the following.
