CAMPFIRE BAN LIFTED
City of Armstrong – The City of Armstrong is lifting the Campfire Ban effective 12:00 PM, Wednesday August 28, 2024.
Based on the recommendations from the Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Chief, Robert Brown and BC Wildfire Service campfires will be allowed as of 12:00 PM August 28, 2024.
Please note that the following activities are prohibited in the City of Armstrong:
- The use of fireworks
- The use of sky lanterns
- The use of burn barrels or burn cages of any size or description
- The use of binary exploding targets
- The use of tiki and similar kinds of torches
- The use of chimineas
- The use of outdoor stoves or other portable campfire apparatus without a Canadian Standards Association (CSA) or Underwriter Laboratories of Canada (ULC) rating
Please exercise caution while enjoying your campfire in a safe and responsible manner.
