Armstrong Returns to Stage One Water Conservation

The City of Armstrong is rescinding Stage 2 Water Conservation and returning to Stage 1 Water Conservation on Friday, October 25, 2024. The City recognizes the cooperation of the community making the Stage 2 Water Restrictions a success in keeping our water reserves readily available for essential needs during this drought season.

By reducing water consumption, the City was able to keep our water reservoirs at sustainable levels, and reduced energy used to pump, treat, and distribute water throughout the City.

Water Conservation measures are mandatory as per City Bylaw 1926 Water Use and Conservation, which requires all residents receiving City of Armstrong water to be compliant with restrictions to watering habits. Water is a precious resource here in the Okanagan and the City of Armstrong will remain on Stage 1 Water Conservation measures year-round.
