Intersection Line Painting Changes: Pleasant Valley Road – Rosedale Ave & Rosedale Ave and Okanagan Street

The City of Armstrong would like to inform residents about recent changes to road line painting at key intersections as part of our pilot program to enhance traffic safety. These changes specifically affect the intersections of Rosedale Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road, as well as Rosedale Avenue and Okanagan Street. The improvements were designed by a traffic engineer through the Plan Zero grant to make our roads safer and more accessible, particularly around high-traffic intersections.

Ongoing monitoring of these intersections will help ensure that the upgrades are effective in improving road safety. As part of these changes, additional reflective bollards will be installed to accommodate turn radius movements.
