Armstrong, BC – There will be a full road closure of Okanagan Street between 2460 Okanagan Street to Henderson Drive starting October 17, 2023, to October 20, 2023, to accommodate for the Sanitary tie in for Westmont Building Development.
• The complete effected area is from Harding Avenue and HWY 97A to Okanagan Street and Rosedale Avenue which will be open to local traffic only.
• Residents that live or need to access Okanagan Avenue south of Henderson Avenue are asked to use HWY 97A as a detour to access the downtown.
• For Okanagan Ave access north of Henderson Ave, please use Rosedale Ave and proceed north on Hwy 97A to Harding Ave.
All local residents and emergency services have been notified and are aware of the closure. Current updates on road closures will be provided through the City of Armstrong’s website and social media platforms. The City encourages residents to be aware of the Road Closure, and Local Traffic Only signage, slow down and watch for workers in the area.
